32nd Annual K3 Fishing Derby
2015 Kankakee River Fishing Derby had been postponed due to dangerous river conditons. Blame it on global warming then keep an eye out for further information , future results, and start dates here.
"June 22, 2015
Due to dangerous river conditions, the 32nd Annual Kankakee River Fishing Derby is being postponed for a minimum of two weeks.
Tentative new dates for the Derby are July 10 through July 19. These dates are dependent upon safe river conditions and the availability of the shock boat from the Department of Natural Resources to assist in tagging fish prior to the beginning of the Derby. Dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.
Assuming a July 10 start for the Derby, dates for each of the Derby Dollar Days will be 2 weeks later than previously published dates. Awards night will be planned for Wednesday, July 22nd, 6:00 PM at the Bradley Bourbonnais Sportsmen Club.
For questions or additional information, please contact Ken Munjoy at email@example.com or leave a message at 815--802--5030 and you will receive a call back as soon as possible."

Check out the Bragin' Board to see your fish. We have many people wanting to share their catch with KRTP. Its both a good way to see how our river is producing and to prove it wasn't just a "fish story".
